About Showing an interest in creating from a very early age, Brad has explored many media over the years. From drawing, pastels, colored pencils, pen and ink to painting in water colors, acrylics and oils. He has worked in sculpting and turning with clay. Scratchboards and wood-burning is another field that Brad has adventured into with great success. He works in most of these media still today. Brad has experimented with many color schemes and subjects to find what brings him the most pleasure. Through personal experiences he references back into his memory of events and places from his past. To bring You; the viewer, the beauty from within his mind and soul. His style is one of Realism in Landscapes and wildlife. Fantasy and Aviation compositions are another avenue for his creativity. Primarily self-taught, Brad studied art and architectural drafting at High School in his home state of Ohio. A tour of duty in the Air Force (823rd CES / RED HORSE) brought him to the south, and rural life in Georgia and the Florida Panhandle has influenced much of his work. Entering his work in Juried Fine Art Exhibits, Galleries and Members only Art Shows has brought him much enjoyment. Brad has received several awards including Best in Show Award during one of His first shows. Working on commissioned pieces has also proven to expand his imagination to the limits of others' visions. It makes Brad proud to be able to share his work with the great people of the world. Brad currently resides in Mary Ester, Fl. with his wife and four children. “I find the most pleasure creating from an inner vision I get when I study the work in progress. Creating as it appears to me on canvas. I usually start without a subject in mind, it just seems to happen. I’m always searching to create something different, and all my paintings are a part of me.” |
